    KINGSTON, N.Y. - Ulster County Executive Pat Ryan announced today during his Facebook live briefing that Ulster County is seeking residents to serve on the 2020 Commission on Reapportionment and other Ulster County committees. The Ulster County 2020 Commission on Reapportionment is a seven-member body, convened every ten years following the decennial federal census, to establish the boundaries of the 23 districts that comprise the Ulster County Legislature.

    KINGSTON, N.Y. - Ulster County Executive Pat Ryan announced that Ulster County has reached over 50,000 coronavirus diagnostic tests since March 10. There have been 52,009 total tests conducted with 1942 unique positive cases. There are currently 116 active cases of COVID-19 in Ulster County and 91 fatalities. Ulster County currently has a 0.2% rate of new positive cases. All Ulster County residents are currently eligible to get tested. During testing a nasal swab, oral swab, or saliva sample may be used.

While the House passed significant aid for state and local governments in the HEROES Act, which would provide direct relief for counties, there is growing concern that the Senate coronavirus relief bill may not include critical support for state and local governments.

    KINGSTON, N.Y. - Ulster County Executive Pat Ryan announced during his Facebook Live Briefing today that Ulster County’s women and minority-owned businesses, along with businesses in low- and moderate-income census tracts, are now eligible for $2 million dollars in loan funding. The monies, targeted at stabilizing small businesses and non-profits hit by the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, are made possible by a $100,000 investment by Ulster County Economic Development Alliance (UCEDA) in partnership with the National Development Council (NDC).
